Drawing Structures of Interest
In most successful units, I allow children to have 'time' in a space. In this unit, the time gave the students the ability to explore books or interest and sketch structures that fascinated or interested them. I want to share some of their sketches, looking at the detail and care they placed in their drawings. In addition, I will share some of the written responses from the exploration time. I believe this is an important space for the children to be in as it engages and motivated them to seek further understanding and knowledge in the unit.

Structures - A structure can be a home or an igloo or a city wall. My favorite is the igloo because it is cool. Brynn L. |
